Africa Media and Information Technology Initiative (AfriMITI) Global Encryption Day 2022 celebration seek to bring together stakeholders; Civil Society Organization, Media, Private Companies, Government, Technology Hubs/startups and others to discuss on End to End Encryption and the state of citizens data safe and how best to adopt E2EE to serve all.
The event will serve as a platform for discussion on what ways are best to ensure safety and security of citizens on the internet by using encryption. Also discuss on the threat to undermine encryption by the Government. The stakeholders roundtable on Encryption will be a platform for a close working relationship for CSO’s and the Government to work closely for ensuring strong E2EE, that will ensure citizens protection of data.
