Encryption for Everyone is All For Tech’s Global Encryption Day 2026 event in Kano, Nigeria. Hosted through our Digital Protection Community, it brings together government, the technical community, businesses, civil society, persons with disabilities, students, and everyday internet users to make encryption understandable and practical for all.
The day features a plain-language introduction to encryption, a live demonstration, a hands-on “Make the Switch” clinic to help people secure their own devices, and a multi-stakeholder panel on how strong encryption protects people, businesses, and government, and what proposals could weaken it. In-person participation in Kano is by invitation for selected stakeholders, and everyone is welcome to join online via our livestream and registered session.
