The event will therefore bridge the gap between encryption advocacy and practical implementation by addressing three complementary areas:
– People and digital safety: how encryption protects individuals, communications, privacy and online interactions.
– Trust and policy: why strong encryption is essential to a safe and trustworthy Internet and the risks associated with intentionally weakening encryption.
– Secure digital infrastructure: how organizations can practically implement encryption and related security controls using accessible tools, technologies and open Internet standards.
Through guided hands-on laboratories, participants will configure and secure Internet-facing infrastructure and apply encryption principles in realistic environments.
