Behind the Lock – Understanding Encryption as a Feminist Issue

Chayn will be delivering a workshop to members of the WAVE Network, a network of over 190 European women’s NGOs working towards prevention and protection of women and children from violence. In this participatory workshop we will introduce what encryption is, why it matters to those working on gender-based violence, and explore the policy landscape around encryption and why and how feminist organisations should get involved in the protection of encryption in their countries.
